Utmost conviction

I first met Sarah at the beginning of her 2 ½ year journey to healing from Myeloma cancer. While the medical profession wanted her to go through standard cancer treatment, she did not want that. She had the utmost conviction she would find another way through it.

Journey to healing with vision boards

We first met 1:2:1 online in September 2021 in the comfort and intimacy of her bedroom to give her the privacy and security she needed in which to make her Intuitive Vision Board.

It was a vision board that was to reflect back to her the need for space – for contemplation, going within, and most of all for healing.

Journey continued with Feng Shui added to the mix

In January 2022 we took it one stage further and introduced Feng Shui therapy.  Our aim was to support her vision for health and healing by upgrading and aligning her bedroom with that vision.

The bedroom is a vital healing space for all of us – and particularly for Sarah – in which she would retire for rest, meditation and recuperation.  But like so many of us these days, it also doubled up as an office.  The first thing she saw on entering the room was her work on the desk and a tower-block of files stacked up beside it, with in-trays encroaching on her sleeping area.  Not good Feng Shui!

It was also the storage room for her boys’ bookcase and the ironing yet (or probably never) to be done.  Altogether the room was cluttered with too many pieces of furniture and paperwork.  It had a perfunctory feel to it and not the welcoming feminine space she needed.

Once the space had been decluttered, we changed the colour of the bedspread and added more cushions to make it feel nurturing and voluptuous.  2 bedside tables with matching lamps were added for harmony and balance.  And we completed the frame with crystals representing love on the one side and abundance on the other.

Throughout the process (and going forwards) Sarah maintained a “whole-self” approach to healing.  She steadily set about healing old trauma and emotional wounds, which she recognised had pulled her out of alignment and her natural state of homeostasis and wellness.  She supported transformational coaching with regular Reiki healing, meditation, kinesiology, yoga and massage.

The second Intuitive Vision Board Sarah made was in celebration of her healing from cancer.

All clear from cancer

When I saw Sarah again In February 2023. It was to celebrate her ‘all clear from cancer’ by making a further Intuitive Vision Board.  This marked the completion of her 2 ½ year journey in which Sarah had been offered a stem cell transplant and had declined in favour of her own healing process.

It was also to acknowledge her release from the energetic, physical, mental and emotional “bodies” associated with the cancer and to set her intentions for the next chapter of her life.  It was a joyous moment, which is now culminating in a book to be published shortly – working title “Choose Life”.

Well done for your personal conviction and courage in taking this journey, Sarah, and for sharing it with us.

An exciting postscript to Sarah’s remarkable journey to heaing with vision boards and Feng Shui.

“The other night I did a very powerful fire ceremony to burn all the paperwork and booklets to do with cancer I realised I still had stored in my bedroom.  I created a fire pit from an old metal plant pot that had been sitting in my garden since I moved in.  I sat under a beautiful moon and stars and said goodbye to that chapter in my life – and it felt incredibly exciting.  The most astonishing thing happened when I returned inside.  I discovered one of the images on my current vision board was also of a fire pit! ”
