Lana knew she was at a turning point in her life and was lacking the energy and health to address the various strands involved.  Tackling them all at the same time was leaving her exhausted and not moving her forward fast enough.

In conversation, we decided an online Feng Shui consultation to address the environment in which she was attempting to deal with these tasks could serve her well.  We’d start with the home office to unplug the congestion and get the energy moving again.

Lana’s account

“Thank you so much for recommending we did some Feng Shui together.  No matter how much I’d tried, I couldn’t arrange my home office in a way that felt right to me, even when I’d adopted the ‘correct direction’ to sit in to support my health, according to the compass method.

“What with my mother’s passing and needing to sort out her belongings and her home on top of my own and with my ongoing health challenges, I was finding it hard to work while other home tasks were evading me.  This left me exhausted, which further impacted my health.  I felt as though life was relentless and never-ending in its demands on me.

“I’d read a lot about Feng Shui and implemented much of what I’d learnt online.  I was also familiar with how Mary worked having read her blogs too.  However, I hadn’t quite anticipated the scale and speed of momentum that a consultation with her would create!

Within a week of implementing 75% of the cures in my office alone, the counters of my chronic health condition had dropped dramatically to the desired level of management, my medication greatly reduced, and I was officially declared an ‘out-patient’.

“The room I run my business from is small.  Repositioning the furniture prompted me to get on and declutter the contents before moving them.  For instance, my mother’s paperwork sat in box files at the entrance to the room, which I was stepping over.  Mary’s recommended I move the boxes downstairs into the front room, where there was more space to go through them.  This not only free’d the blockage at the entrance to the room right away, it also gave me more manoeuvrability in the room itself and I wasn’t being reminded of my mother’s paperwork when I was trying to work.

“Having stalled for months on submitting probate I felt able to do so with the Feng Shui changes underway.

Small room, radical effect

“The effect of moving everything around, even in a small room like my office, felt radical.  It took me a few days to settle into the changes.  Now I am totally at ease with the new arrangement – even releasing furniture like my father’s old chair, which I’d described to Mary as ‘being on its last legs’.  We both laughed.  No wonder I felt like I was on my last legs after spending long hours sitting in it.

“By commencing Feng Shui in my office upstairs, at the front of the house, had a  knock-on effect throughout the whole house. I felt guided to work through one room to the next until finally exiting out through the back door into the garden itself.  This meant the shed at the bottom of the garden and the garage adjacent, both crammed full of stuff, were within easy reach.  So we have devised a plan for emptying the contents into a skip which didn’t require transporting them through the entire house.

My dogs approve too

“Another interesting observation had to do with my dogs.  We’d already found the perfect placement for the one who likes to join me while I’m working.  Now, since the new room arrangement, the other three want to come in too so we’ve made space for them in the ‘relationship corner’ of the room. One dog, Orion, even opens the door at night and sleeps in the office so he’s obviously super-happy with the energies in there now.  The fact this has meant moving the large amethyst to the ‘wealth corner’ is an even better placement for the crystal too.

“Work wise, I’ve already experienced a new stream of potential business I hadn’t bargained on.  I woke one morning and was drawn to visit a digital platform where I’d contributed some articles 18 months ago. To my surprise I found I had 70,000 hits, which further encouraged me to raise my profile there and contribute more, especially since I am about to launch my own version of a healing modality called aura-soma.

“The Feng Shui consultation also helped to prioritise the order in which things should take place to achieve the greatest impact.  I now understand there is no one right or wrong way to arrange a room.  With a consultation all associated factors were taken into consideration to arrive at the best outcome for me rather than the more formulaic solution you might get from a book.

Feng Shui for all

“I’ve felt a new lease of life – and in the home – since the Feng Shui project began.  Something inside me has opened up and I’ve felt able to tackle each task as it comes and see it through to completion.

“It’s been a vibrantly exciting journey and I feel very positive about moving forward again.  We’d contemplated a house move to a new county in the autumn, which had felt daunting and feels achievable now.  I’ve already said to my partner the next time we must have Mary over before we move the furniture in otherwise we’ll be moving it all twice!”

Thank you, Lana, for sharing your Feng Shui journey to give others a taste for the experience you’ve had.  You’ve been a perfect client; listening well, taking the recommendations on board, and giving them the priority you deserve.  I look forward to helping you relocate to the West Country.
